- eat only as much as you need to satisfy your appetite.
- eat smaller regular meals as opposed to infrequent large meals.
- eat according to appetite, not meal times.
- eat your last meal three hours before you sleep.
- never drink around meal times
- eat with attention and calmness.
- cook your food with / eat food prepared with – care, interest, and love
- eat after thanking the cook/provider of your meal and/or God.
- never become fearful of food.
- never criticize anybody else's food - especially when they are eating.
- make sure that you eat through need and not comfort
- when drinking fresh veg/fruit juice - sip and taste before swallowing. Never gulp juices.
- avoid too much talking during meals if possible.
- always eat a little less, rather than a little more. your body will thank you.
