I began teaching yoga around 1991, and a few years after that began toying with the idea of introducing things like mind control work, dietary understanding, and spiritual expression into my classes. These were areas which were not directly linked to classical yoga, but were things I thought would be of interest to practitioners. In 1995, I officially changed the name of my school of teaching to Chi Kri. Since then I have been learning and slowly introducing elements of my other studies (like Vedic science, diet etc) into lectures, workshops, and handouts for students and people associated with my yoga work.

Chi Kri is still developing because it is such a large framework of ideas and concepts. And it probably always will. But the end result will be a collection of eight equally important areas of development leading to a way of life I consider to be beneficial for myself and hopefully to all.
