My classes are very special and so are all my students. As my student, you will be cared for and treated with utmost respect. You will not be judged but listened to and guided through your personal growth with compassion.

Each session will be varied and different. The yoga poses we practice will be carefully tailored according to your needs and ability. This in turn, will strengthen your spine and improve your posture and the functioning of all your major bodily systems. Not only will you see an improvement in your physical strength and stamina, but also an improvement in your mental and emotional strength and discipline. The body will become more supple, and the mind, more flexible. You will see an increase in your ability to focus and concentrate.

The Chi Kri relaxation techniques will help you to let go off your stress and relax giving you more energy and vitality.

Most importantly, learning the yoga philosophy and the different Chi Kri meditations, you will connect deeply with your real Self. You will become calmer, more patient and more peaceful, and have a general feeling of wellness and in harmony with your inner self.

I have been on the journey of yoga for a number of years and it has now become a way of life for me. Having found tremendous benefits from my personal practice, a few years ago I decided it was time to share these with people I encounter in this world. I therefore trained as a yoga teacher and have been teaching since 2009.

Be it in public classes, private group sessions or 1-2-1 sessions, I invite you to let me help you unify with your body, mind and soul, and let your wisdom, strength and beauty within unfold.

Hi, my name is Smirti and I’d love for you to come on a journey with me…

I have an honest passion for sharing and I’d like to share what I’ve learnt and still continue to learn onto my students.

My classes do not require you to be flexible, strong or be a particular shape…they’re for regular people who want to grow strong, heal and get closer to their best selves. We will work together towards a sense of ease in your body, a deepening clarity of mind and a greater emotional balance.  In my class, the journey is not just about doing the perfect Downward Facing Dog; it’s about what you learn in the process!

I started on my Yoga Path nearly 10 years ago when as a mother of 2 boisterous, young boys I didn’t have the time or the inclination to look after myself and was continuously stressed and tired.  With the help of Chi Kri Grand Master Neil Patel, I learnt to transform along with my growing children, from the stressed out mother, to a calm, content and healthy soul.

My moment of pure joy, peace and happiness is often found in solitude, away from the busy city life. Surrounded by nature, blue skies, wild flowers and a magical lake with calming waters.

My classes promise to help you find that joie de vivre and that soulful quality within each and every one of you, coupled with that all important peace of mind that you seek.

As a Gold standard Chi Kri teacher I will use my knowledge and training to help you stretch your body through a series of asanas and your mind through meditation and pranayama, to achieve a homogeneous state of calmness. Classic flowing movements will occasionally be teamed up by the more dynamic Chi Kri Hip Hop Yoga. Classes will be tailored to suit all levels and capabilities, from beginners to the more advanced yogi.

My yoga journey started many years ago when I was looking for physical activity after work. I tried various kinds of yoga classes and still felt that whilst I was strengthening my body and keeping fit, there was still something missing. It wasn’t until I met Grandmaster Neil and embarked on my Chi Kri journey two years ago that I started to understand the true meaning and essence of yoga - Learning how to still my mind and racing thoughts through meditation and using the breath through pranayama. Understanding metaphysics, the science behind our existence and utilizing creativity without inhibition makes Chi Kri yoga a disciplined, unique and special practice for me. These invaluable teachings are ones that I would be delighted to share with you.

Yoga has the power to peel back layers, brush off cobwebs, and reach the deep dark crevices of your mind and body. You will feel loved and special, transformed and rejuvenated.

Hi there and welcome, it's nice to meet you :-)

My name is Shirley and my style of teaching is one of calmness and strength. You will leave my class feeling beautifully stretched and relaxed and ready to enjoy a good night's sleep. Whilst my class will work upon your physical fitness, I also place a huge emphasis on developing the mental strength of my students. As I walk you through the Chi Kri philosophies, you will feel stronger as a person and gradually become better able to cope with the unexpected challenges that life can throw your way.

My classes are aimed at beginners/intermediate but are accessible to all. I will carefully guide you through posture work so as to improve your stamina, strength and suppleness, as well as practising breathing exercises to help students regain full control of their thoughts (rather than live at their mercy). My meditations are designed to guide you back towards your true self, whilst relaxation provides a precious opportunity to experience the real meaning of stillness... possibly for your very first time!

Having experienced the anxieties and stresses that come with being a student, I understand just how easy it is to lose focus, and how difficult it can be to find your feet again. I began my yoga practise just after I finished University, and this is when I realised that Yoga has something for everyone – whether you’re a student or working in the city, you can be sure you’ll find something you need.

Yoga and meditation can work wonders for your mind, body and soul. Along with the physical benefits such as improved flexibility and decreased muscle tension, the psychological effects are just as valuable. Meditation can help concentration, along with helping reduce anxiety and stress.

Despite being one of the most disciplined practises, yoga offers so much room for you to grow and learn more about yourself. It judges none, but welcomes all!

Hi! My name is Wendy – Come and join me to discover all that Chi Kri Yoga has to offer.

As well as building your physical strength, I will show you how yoga can help to build your mental strength to help develop your confidence, determination and patience.

I will share with you techniques to overcome stress through meditation, which can help you to withdraw from your busy lives for a short time to find an inner peace; this will leave you with a sense of calm and stillness at the end of a class.

Yoga offers a gentle way to maintain a healthy body at any age. In my class a series of asanas (postures) will help to stretch and tone your body and improve your posture and core strength. Over time you will find yourself become more supple and flexible.

Yoga also helps to support the internal functioning of the body, aiding the nervous system, blood circulation and digestion.

Yoga is non competitive and you will be supported with care and understanding to work at a level that suits you and helps you make progress over time.

I now want to share my love and passion for yoga and meditation so that others can experience its many benefits. So why not ‘take time out’ from your busy weekly schedule to come and stretch, unwind and find your inner peace.

Although you may not think so, you are your own greatest teacher.  My job is to give you the right tools at the right time, in a loving, compassionate and caring way, so that you can reach a place that feels right for you.

The two most common questions that people have asked me since I became a yoga teacher are:
 
1. Why did you give up your 23+ year career in I.T. just for yoga?!


2. I thought you have a PhD in Physics  - How come you believe in all this yoga stuff?

Because yoga has done something for me that money cannot buy – it makes me feel  younger every day. My lungs have become stronger so that I no longer have asthma, I can hold Headstands for 15 minutes, my immunity is functioning so efficiently that I haven’t been prescribed medicine in over 7 years and people close to me say that I have become much calmer and am able to handle stress better.

My students have also mentioned to me that yoga is blessing them with physical strength, mental agility, flexibility, increased energy and is helping them to relax and sleep better after a hard day’s work.

Hey, I’m Sheena! I’m 25 years old and I LOVE teaching Chi Kri Yoga!

As a graduate from Warwick University, I have first-hand experience of the pressures young people face growing up in today's frantic world, and I understand just how easy it is to lose touch with yourself.

Over the past 6 years, Chi Kri Yoga has been my best friend and anchor through all my challenges. It's taught me to believe in myself and trained my mind to remain calm and strong through whatever battles I am facing.

Do you feel self-conscious entering a yoga classroom? Do you feel your weight, shape or size affects your confidence in a  classroom? Have you always wanted to try yoga but felt like you wouldn't fit in? Well this might surprise you but I felt exactly the same way when I entered the World of Yoga.

My name is Helen and I am a qualified Chi Kri Yoga Teacher.

I am very passionate about yoga and I want everyone to try it and see what it can do for them. The postures, the breathing exercises, the meditations and relaxation will all help to bring a new lease to your life. Like everyone, I have had problems that I have had to deal with in life and I truly believe that yoga has helped me to face them with a calmness that would have been completely inaccessible to me before.

I first became interested in yoga many years ago when I was a teenager. It was a fairly rare form of exercise then, and I never found a class. As I got older, whilst I still retained an interest in yoga I became very self conscious and felt that I would not fit in to a yoga class – I was neither slim nor flexible!  Then a good friend of mine told me that she was training to be a Chi Kri Yoga Teacher and was looking for people to practice on. I jumped at the chance and was so glad that I did as I have never looked back.

Hi my name is Mina and I will be running both kids and adults Chi Kri Yoga classes.  As your yoga teacher I would like to cultivate within you more happiness, love, peace, wisdom and strength through the Classical Chi Kri yoga postures, Chi Kri philosophy, Pranayama and Meditation.

Kids classes

As a Montessori teacher for 13 years I feel compassioniate about children's creative development. I believe that love is the key and I show genuine interest in human development. Yoga has many advantages for children including aiding focus and developing social skills. Physically, yoga teaches balance and co-ordination.

Adults classes

My adults private classes focus on classical Yoga postures. These postures will develop you spiritually, mentally and physically.

My classes will be gentle yet challenging for beginners to intermediate level through simple extended postures leading to sequences and balancing postures.

For me, Chi Kri Yoga has been inspirational, liberating and unifying.  It is a beautiful art form which has brought me serenity and contentment.  My aim is to bring balance and equilibrium into the life of my students, providing energy and a sense of contentment to everyday life.
